Saturday morning, hadn't been to this coffee shop for more than a decade. Came here because my regular 113 duck koay teow thng around the corner was closed. The kueh teow thng at Wong Fat Lee was still good though.

They are still using charcoal to boil the broth here. Overall the quality of the Koay Teow Th’ng is good. The fishballs are bouncy and I had some add ons of small and big intestines and a bowl of bayam/Chinese spinach.

Tiger Kueh Teow Th'ng The kueh teow is smooth and silky, topped with fresh spinach and bits of crispy fried pork lard that add a nice aroma and crunch. The pork intestines are well-prepared — chewy but clean, with no strong pork smell.

Koay Teow Thng is one of the most competition food in Penang. However, this stall definetely overrated. The soup lacked any real depth of flavor, leaving feeling quite disappointed.
