A mention in Michelin guide. A traditional breakfast favorite of Char koay kak. The kak had a firm bite to it and was pan-fried with dark soy sauce and served with plump bean sprouts.

Finally managed to get my hands on this after multiple attempts. Missed them the previous attempts coming in at around 11 probably cause business was good on those days.

We love this char koay kak! It’s so fragrant and pack with flavor. We sit at the kapitiam? and ordered some drinks to accompany the food. We wish we could just packed the sisters up and take them back with us to Taiwan so we could eat them…

Came on a weekday, no much folks. This is a famous store but unfortunately I'm not a fan. A good combination of bean sprouts, chives and carrots cake. Caramelised by dark sweet sauce. Fragrance 100% but taste is a let down.

May 2026: unfortunately the dish was not as good as I expected. The carrot cake pieces were ok only. If you eat the egg and bean sprouts only without the carrot cake, the taste is not bad.

Char koay kak tastes good and it's for such an affordable price! Limited seating available. Might need to wait long for a table during busy hours.

The fried kway teow at the tea house was quite good, but it was missing Chinese sausage. I suggest not adding fish cake; it would taste even better. The stall outside, Sister Yao, closes on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 7 pm to 12 am.

This is a stall shop (ร้านแผงลอย). You must order coffee first then you can eat inside their restaurant. This Char Koay Teow use some kind of rice ball instead of noodle. It is cheap just 5.5 RM with duck egg.
