First, in order to dine here (especially on weekends) we must call in advance (04- -262 6954) and order and do booking first, else they sold out very fast! All the oysters are satisfactory! The oyster omelette is delicious with crunchy outer layer and juicy inside.

Located on the ground floor of a residential flat, this place isn't easy to find – neither is parking readily available in this cramped housing area. Diners often wait at least 45 minutes before being served too, but the food is worth it.

On our recent trip to Penang, rif and I had good lunch at Sin Lean Heang located near McCallum flats.
My patience paid off, when the first dish arrived in full glory – Or Mee or Oyster Noodle (RM20).

There are only a few restaurants serving Hokkien dishes in Penang and one of the places is Sin Lean Heang, located in Goh Tiau Lor (5th Street) – near McCallum flats . This restaurant has been around for many years.
