⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tried their signature grouper steamboat and I can see why it’s a favorite among locals. The ingredients were fresh — especially the fish slices and handmade fish balls — and everything was served neatly and quickly.

The steamboat is delicious, with a fish-based broth and a variety of tempting dishes. Just a suggestion: order a steamboat portion for two, which can feed four people. The portions are quite large.

While traveling in Penang, I found this restaurant on Google Maps after coming down from Penang Hill in the afternoon and took a taxi straight here. Surprisingly, it was the most enjoyable meal I had in Penang.

Used to be a 10/10- now on a good day it’s a 8/10. Prices have also gone up a bit. The dipping sauce and soup stock is still excellent though- so everything else doesn’t matter I guess
