On my first day in Penang, I went to nothing but the best: Nasi Kandar Line Clear. My local friend pretty much chose most of the things on my plate and she made sure to get what she said are popular about this place — fish head curry and squid eggs.

Let me jump to the point: I loved everything about my experience at Line Clear Restaurant. From the insanely delicious (and messy!) nasi kandar to the friendly and helpful service, this is one local food shop you need to visit when in Georgetown.

Line Clear Nasi Kandar is located in an alleyway which is very easy to miss. If you’re walking from Lebuh Chulia, keep to the left hand side and you should see the above yellow signboard on the walkway once you turn left onto Jalan Penang.
