When we passed by New World Park at Jalan Burmah, we noticed a modest stall neighboring to New World Park was swarmed with crowd. It was actually a kopitiam selling Hainanese chicken rice and has been selling there for years.

Anyone looking for flavourful pork/duck/chicken rice in Penang, this place is definitely a MUST-TRY! They have variety of sides from mushroom chicken feet to green veges and herbal eggs.

While working remotely in Penang, I had lunch here almost every weekday. Every item on the menu is served quickly and tastes absolutely fantastic. The chicken rice is, of course, great — but the real star is the roast duck!

One of the most underrated chicken rice in town! The roasted pork & roasted chicken were flavorful—definitely a must-try. However, I personally didn’t enjoy the steamed chicken, as it lacked flavor for my taste.

Grabbing a simple quick lunch at fat2 chicken. Not as appetite as our expectation. But the kiamcai soup is the best one. For chicken, duck, and pork. All taste just well enough.
