Somewhere hidden amongst the stalls is the famous Chulia Street Curry Mee.
Below is the famous Curry Mee stall. Look at the amount of fried bean curd there is in the pot! Its full of it! By the way that, brownish stuff in the pot by his elbow is cockles.

The curry mee stall next to the wonton noodle stall. Both are bustling and weighed down with orders. Despite being told that there would be a long wait, we got our curry noodles within 20 mins.

The one I went to was located along Chulia Street. The crowds there were usually big and waiting for a bowl of noodle would take up to half an hour or more. The Curry Mee soup is not like those selling elsewhere.

Chulia Street Curry Mee is a favourite in Penang that many grew up eating. The soup at Chulia Street Curry Mee has just the right amount of coconut milk that doesn't overpower the flavour of the shrimp, while the chilli paste is fragrant and adds a kick to the dish too.

Right next to the Wanton Mee stall, this busy night stall serves some lovely Curry Mee . Just like Hokkien Mee , it comes with 2 types of noodles and a curry-powder broth mixed with various extras. A small bowl costs RM3.
