Few doors away from Ceki , Baba Phang 峇峇之家 is equally popular and the crowd can be seen in the evenings. It is however, relatively quieter during the day time. Like any Nyonya restaurants, the menu features many familiar Nyonya delights, including soups and desserts.

However, BaBa Phang , a Nyonya restaurant in Jalan Sri Bahari did leave a great impression for me on the authenticity, quality and deliciousness of the dishes here. The price may not be cheap and service may be slow at certain times due to its small business nature, but rest…

A lovely Nyonya food restaurant with dishes that are full of flavour. The nasi ulam was especially fragrant, herbaceous, and well-balanced, with every bite tasting clean and refreshing.

Dining at Baba Phang Restaurant is more than just enjoying Nyonya cuisine; it's like participating in a reimagined "family memory." The space speaks for itself—wooden walls and understated crystal chandeliers create a balanced blend of…

The food here was just alright with my favourite just being the acar. The otak-otak was a bit too sweet whilst lacking a strong aroma you’d expect from it. The pai tee was quite oily and the cup was not crispy.

we came to Penang with the explicit aim of eating only Penang Nyonya food. This was the first outlet on our list as they were open on Monday. We were 5 hungry persons for dinner.

Best Perut Ikan in town — tastes just like grandma’s cooking! Ordered Nasi Ulam, Salted Fish Acar, and Perut Ikan — all dishes suited my taste perfectly and were truly delicious.

It's clean. There are a lot of Koreans and Chinese. Since it's mostly families, there are many children. The food tasted okay. Many people order the herb rice, but be warned that it tastes like nothing but herbs.

I went for dinner, but unfortunately, the experience was underwhelming. The fish was tough and lacked flavor, several dishes were overly salty, pie tee was soggy since it was served last.

This popular local Peranakan restaurant features dishes and cooking methods that differ significantly from Chinese cuisine. However, the use of rich spices and fresh ingredients makes it quite impressive overall.

The food on my 2nd (last year) visit was rather disappointing. But this trip (3rd visit), the food was back to its former standard. I especially like the Kerabu Kajang Botol and Tau Yew Bak. Please keep up your standard Baba Phang.
