This is the story of how we were led to Nasi Kandar Mohamed Raffe which turned out to be our first Nasi Kandar experience in Penang! The food itself was actually not bad! Full of flavour and the mamak was definitely not stingy when it came to dishing out the goods.

I had better luck at Nasi Kandar Raffe in Pulau Tikus, a popular spot among Penangites besides Nasi Kandar Beratur . The chap who helped me with the rice was pleasant and accommodating, and scooped only the curries I wanted into my rice.

this is one of a famous classic Nasi Kandar in Penang is this Nasi Kandar Raffee at Pulau Tikus. One of a place that I have been dining since when I was in high school till now. Easily more than 30 years.
