The noodles were springy and tastier than your average wantan mee. I liked that there was no kan sui smell or taste in the noodles, which came topped with savoury pork slices and light gravy.

A bowl of noodles with wontons cost over ten yuan, which was both expensive and terrible. The shredded pork was tough, the soup was tasteless, and the noodles were not fragrant at all.

Ipoh. The wantan mee in Ipoh is indeed unique but less tasty than the Penang, KL versions. The noodles, wantan fillings and skin are handmade in-house, including the braised pork strips instead of “char siu.

This is the wonton noodle soup I've been eating since I was a child. I went back specifically to eat it today, and it still tastes just like I remember.

Perhaps it's a matter of nostalgia for locals, but for outsiders, it might be that they're not used to the taste of wonton noodles.

Local type of wantanmee. Noodle texture is nice, but their pairing is with taugeh and pork slices. The pork with gravy was a little salty to my liking. Otherwise all are good.

Very good quality wan tan mee. However, lack of drinks leaves more for desire.
